Personal Injury Cases * / Accidents in the workplace
We advise on both Plaintiff and Defendant litigation actions in the District, Circuit and High Court.
All personal injury cases have now to be first referred to the personal injuries assessment board otherwise known as PIAB, which was set up in 2002. Since the establishment of this Board, many cases are now settled outside of the Courtroom. Failing a satisfactory settlement with PIAB, proceedings are then issued and served on the other side and the matter is set down for trial whereby a hearing date in the court is obtained.
The following are some of the areas we deal in:
- Personal Injury actions *
- Arbitration Disputes
- Professional and Medical Negligence Claims
- Road Traffic Accidents
- Employers Liability
- Debt Collection
- Commercial Disputes
At Ryan & Co. Solicitors we have experience in all areas of Criminal Law defense cases in the District, Circuit and Central Criminal Courts including appeals. We are also on the Legal Aid Board Panel.
We assist people who are requested to give statements to the Gardai in connection with criminal offences where they are the injured party or the person intended to be prosecuted.
It is best to take legal advice in relation to criminal offences prior to attending at any Garda Station for the purposes of giving a statement.
